Welcome to Bzeek

We are happy to release a new version of  Bzeek.
Bzeek upgrades your laptop to be a software access point for free.
It turns your laptop into a WiFi router, and lets people surf the Internet safely and wirelessly.
When Bzeek is installed and you are connected to the internet, a wireless network (BzeekSpot) will appear with the name 'Bzeek Free WiFi'.

Share with us your experience of Bzeek.

Best regards
Idan, Bzeek team

היי
sudriy,

Re: Welcome to Bzeek

Just read about Bzeek today in JPost.com article.

I have a unlocked Nokia N95-4 from the U.S.

Any tips for me when I sign up with Orange or Cellcom - and then download software?

thanks.

Re: Welcome to Bzeek

Hi,

Thanks for your inquiry.

I'm not sure I understand your question right, so here's hopefully an answer:
After you installed Bzeek on your laptop and you see that the BzeekSpot is on(you can use the icon), you can surf through your Nokia N95 on the network created by Bzeek.

We are working with voice over IP operators in Israel to configure your phone to put a landline phone inside your Nokia N95 in parallel to its normal use - so you would be able to make and receive phone calls from an Israeli landline whenever in range of Bzeek - worldwide. We hope to be able to offer it soon.

Did I answer your question?

Best regards,

Re: Welcome to Bzeek

Hi and thanks for the question :-)

First, make sure your internet connections work properly. (WiFi switch is turned on, cables and network are online etc)

Second, turn on Bzeek by right-clicking on the Bzeek icon in your bottom right hand side of the screen.

If the problem persists, try to reboot your system and click on report a bug in your Bzeek control panel, as we still in Beta mode we my find new bugs all the time and we will appreciate your help.

Re: Welcome to Bzeek

Hello,
not sure if my earlier attempt at my questions got to you -it sorta disappeared.  i suspect it fell off the face of the earth.  so i will try again.  these are my questions:  (1)  i see mention of Bzeek "free for one week" but cannot find anything that says this other than the comments.  is this true?  what is the cost for it after the week is up?  (2) i notice a comment above from someone from israel and your answer mentioning getting a land line number in his nokia mobile phone so that he can use Bzeek to make free calls.  did i understand that correctly?  if so, i have a "unlocked" usa purchased (but not registered there) iphone and have a turkish number.  can my iphone be set up to use bzeek (while i am home) on the wi-fi connection to make local istanbul calls?  is there something that needs to be done to my iphone to do this?  could be my question is dumb since i am assuming i can do the same thing.  (3) my final question is this:  when i go out away from my apartment, if i see Bzeek as one of the 'options" for wi-fi (due to being near someone's installation in their business or home - can i just sign in to it?  using my logon information?  i have not done this yet - or even experienced Bzeek being one of the possible connections for me to know.  but, if i do see it can i use it?  thanks.

Re: Welcome to Bzeek

Hi DMikeyV and thanks for your questions!

1. Bzeek software is free to use forever.
This relates to your 3rd question:
If you are surfing through a Bzeek network generated by another user, and you are out of community credit you can purchase additional credit for surfing (price varies).
2. Check out fring.com, you can use it for free calls over Bzeek WiFi network with your iPhone to your friends.
You can configure a local number with fring, if there is a VoIP operator in Turkey that allows you to do so, or use Skype out.
3. Bzeek is all about community network, and we want people to be able to surf freely everywhere! if you see another Bzeek network just log in with your Bzeek credentials. You can surf for free as long as you have community credit. We are working on increasing the free surfing possibilities with Bzeek.

Please let us know if there is anything in addition we can help with.

Best regards,

Bzeek Team

so if someone has set up a hotspot in their house and we are nearby, u said we can log in with our details and use the internet if we have community credit but whose internet will i be using then that person's internet connection or not cos that looks to me like breaking into someone premisses lol or hacking
